Thank you to all the volunteers in the "I Hope It's Solved 2017" event; the first of (what we hope will be) a series of "side-competitions" in Alberta. We introduced this side competitions as a way to allow the province of Alberta to cover a greater variety of events, and to explore different ideas for competitions. These competitions will give more competitors a chance to work towards the completion of their WCA profileand will NOT replace our usual, larger competitions; we will still hold two larger competitions in Edmonton per year, with a more conventional events list.
